Refunds & Cancellation
We want Familiar to be worth it. This page explains how cancellation and refunds work for memberships and for one-time deck purchases.
Membership — cancel anytime
You can cancel your membership at any time from your billing settings. When you cancel, your membership stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and simply doesn’t renew after that — you keep access until then.
Membership — 7-day refund window
If you’re not happy with a new membership, email us within 7 days of the charge and we’ll refund it in full. This applies to your first membership charge; renewal charges are not automatically refundable, but if something went wrong, write to us — we’ll make it right where we can.
Deck purchases
A deck buy-out unlocks the deck on your account immediately. Because it’s digital content delivered at once, deck purchases are generally non-refundable once the deck is unlocked.
If a deck is faulty, won’t load, or isn’t what was described, contact us — we’ll fix the access or refund it. Nothing here removes refund rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
EU / UK withdrawal rights
If you’re in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a digital purchase. For instantly-delivered digital content (a deck unlock, or access to readings), that right can end once delivery begins and you’ve acknowledged it. We still honour the 7-day membership window above and any rights you can’t waive.
How to request a refund
Email hello@familiartarot.com from the address on your account, and tell us what you’d like refunded. We’ll respond promptly and, where a refund is due, return it to your original payment method (this can take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank).
