Page of Wands as Feelings
What it means as feelings
As feelings, the Page of Wands upright is fresh, playful attraction and eager curiosity; reversed, it points to interest that flares, wavers, or stays unsaid.
Page of Wands upright as feelings
Upright, the Page of Wands describes a feeling that is new and openly excited. Someone in this mood may find you fascinating and not try very hard to hide it: sending links at odd hours, asking lots of questions, inviting you to try something on a whim. The interest is playful rather than serious, more spark than plan. It may come with nervous energy, over-sharing, or a habit of talking fast when you are near. On the card a young man in a salamander tunic studies the sprouting tip of his staff as if it might speak. That wide-eyed attention is the tone here, fresh and a little untested.
Page of Wands reversed as feelings
Reversed, the Page of Wands suggests the spark is having trouble staying lit or getting out at all. A person may be intensely interested one week and distracted the next, chasing a new fascination before the first one has a chance. Or they feel the excitement but keep it to themselves, worried about seeming too eager, waiting until they feel more sure. That can look like messages drafted and not sent, flirting that stops halfway, or plans proposed with great energy and then forgotten. The feeling is real but young. It has not yet learned to stay, and it may not know how to say itself.
When the feelings are someone else's
Keep in mind that a card cannot see into anyone else. The Page of Wands names a feeling, young and eager interest, that you can compare with how they actually behave. One sign to watch is curiosity: do they ask about you, remember what you said, want to know more? Another is follow-through. A spark that keeps returning, even clumsily, often means more than a single burst of excitement that never comes back around.
Page of Wands as your own feelings
As a mirror, the Page of Wands may be showing you a new excitement of your own, the kind that makes you want to tell someone today. Perhaps you are drawn to a person, or simply to feeling alive again. The card tends to favor letting that be seen, a little awkward and unpolished. It may also ask whether you are waiting to feel more ready before you admit how interested you are.
The question underneath
What am I excited about here that I have not let myself say out loud yet?
A card can only point at a feeling. To sit with one of your own, draw from a real shuffled deck in Claude and talk it through, free.
Asking something plainer? Page of Wands yes or no.
