A year of The Chariot

The Chariot holds a year of movement. Things tend to go somewhere: a move, a push at work, a goal pursued hard. The card's two sphinxes pull in different directions, and much of the year is about holding opposing drives together long enough to arrive.

What the year asks

It asks for focus and will: choose a direction and keep your hands on the reins. The shadow is driving for its own sake, winning a race you did not need to run.

Sitting with it

Name where you are going this year in a sentence. Name the two pulls that make it hard. Decide how to hold both.

Questions for the year

  • Where am I going, and do I still want to arrive?
  • Which two parts of me pull against each other?
  • What would steady effort look like, rather than force?
